In conjunction with Bowls Victoria’s “Try Bowls” Day, Melbourne Bowling Club is running a community day on Sunday, October 18 between 11.30am and 3pm. The event is supported by the local Chapel Street Traders Association, and a number of community groups will have stalls/displays at the club, as well as plenty of activities for kids, and anyone interested in having a game of bowls or finding out a bit more about the club, including:
- Community Shop Popups
- Music by DJ Garry Seven
- Premier Division Bowls Exhibition Match
- Free “Try Bowls”, all equipment provided
- Free BBQ
For members and the local community, this is an opportunity to bring along family and friends, and anyone else interested in trying lawn bowls. Please support the club as it is a great opportunity to give back to the local community, as well as hopefully gain new members for our great club and the game of lawn bowls. Click Here for a brochure and additional information, or contact Kini Meadows or Janine Rischin via the club on 9510 5321.
Members – please note the car park will be closed on the day to facilitate the community stalls
